Following a cancellation earlier in the year, These Wicked Rivers are set to appear at The Manor on Friday 9th October!
The band have been described as one of the most creative, dynamic and emotionally charged blues-rock bands to emerge in the East Midlands for many years. From Derby, John Hartwell – Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Arran Day – Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, Jon Hallam – Bass, Dan Southall – Drums, the band are collectively influenced by the likes of John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, Black Stone Cherry, and Royal Blood. These Wicked Rivers love writing huge sounding riffs and combining them with epic guitar solos.
With the recording and impending release of their debut EP and video, the band are determined to leave their own mark on the music scene and are currently showcasing their considerable talent with appearances at numerous music events across the UK.
Once 80 tickets have been sold, all revenue from further ticket sales will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK, a charity the club is supporting this year. You can find out more about this extremely important cause at http://prostatecanceruk.org/
