Competitions

We regularly hold events and competitions in the club for the members, but we also play host to some external tournaments and fixtures.  We are one of only 8 venues to be chosen to host a UK Racketball Series Event which is on an annual basis and have just signed up to host one of the “Tony Squash Doubles Tour” events, one of 12 National Doubles events.  We held the first ever Women’s Professional event here in December 2011 – The Sage Women’s Professional Squash Open.  This event  attracted some of the best women players in the world and as well as these events we host a variety of other County & Regional training sessions here and have a great association with the Derbyshire County Squash & Racketball Association as well as the National Governing Body of the sports, England Squash & Racketball.  In Autumn 2012, we ran the first Midlands Racketball Open event here, which was sponsored by our partner, AIT-IT – so watch this space and get yourself entered into one of the many graded events we have here.  Please speak to our reception staff on 0115 9305027 for more details of all of these events.
