The Manor Health & Racquets Club and is second to none in Derbyshire. The membership fees include the use of virtually all our facilities – apart from of course the Solarium and we pride ourselves with having 5 fantastic Championship Squash Courts (3 of which are glass-backed and one of those can comfortably seat 100 spectators) and there are thriving Squash & Racquetball leagues & teams within the club. We have a full-time Squash & Racquetball Coach and there are group and individual coaching sessions for juniors & seniors, available to members & non-members alike as well as a Club Night where new members can integrate with established members to get to know one another. This is a great way to find a similar standards to play against & there are Group & Team Training sessions planned for the summer period for anyone wanting to get fit for the game(s) and social games are encouraged just as much as competitive ones. There really is a standard for everyone.

There is a large Cardio Vascular Gym, a Free-Weights Gym & a Resistance Training Room with static hydraulic machines as well as a Functional/Bootcamp training Room & Personal Training is available for an extra charge from one of our PT instructor. A Fitness/Dance Studio completes the gymnasium side and there is a whole host of classes that are included in both the gym only & full memberships.

Other facilities include an on-site Physio (George) who can look after any rehabilitation needs and provide an exercise programme to compliment any treatments given/advised. George has a large client list and generally operates on an appointment basis Monday to Thursday from 9am-8pm. He has over 25 years experience in the field and his reputation and knowledge is exceptional. Both Men’s & Ladies changing rooms have showering facilities & separate Sauna & Steam rooms. Simply call reception on 0115 930 5027 and our friendly reception staff will be able help you.

The Manor Bar & Restaurant has an open license and is open to the general public and can be hired out as a venue for parties and events at very reasonable rates.
